History Students’ Association

The History Students Association (HSA) represents UBC’s history majors, minors, honours, and all those passionate about history!

The group organizes events throughout the year, connecting students with the History Department, and providing opportunities to network with fellow history lovers on both academic and social levels.

Events include trivia nights, the annual HSA tea party, movie nights, socials, and pub crawls. The HSA also organizes academically focused events such as essay editing sessions, which occur during the midterm and finals season.

Through the Undergraduate Journal of World History, the HSA provides a platform for students to share their scholarly research and to participate in the peer-editing process to fine-tune their historical thinking skills.
