Please join us for the UBC History department’s Graduate School Event! The History Graduate Student Association [HGSA] will be hosting this event for all prospective graduate students that are interested in pursuing a graduate degree in history! While this is aimed towards history specifically, any students who are considering pursuing a graduate degree in the social sciences & humanities are welcome to join and come ask us questions!

This event will cover a variety of topics including, but not limited to: how to apply, application process and steps, how to write an amazing statement of intent, what do they want to see in a writing sample, and life as a graduate student!

We will have a Q&A after the presentation so you can ask our panelists [there will be an event info link sent close to the date that includes further information on the panelists]. There will also be a conference packet available with valuable advice about applying to graduate school, contacting supervisors, graduate school life from various professors! This will be sent out to all that RSVP!
