Professor Heidi Tworek and the Department of History welcome you to an afternoon event to celebrate Dr. Tworek’s new book News from Germany: The Competition to Control World Communications, 1900-1945.
Join us for a discussion led by Dr. Tworek on the major themes of her book. Professors Eagle Glassheim (Department Head, UBC History) and Mary Lynn Young (UBC Graduate School of Journalism) will offer their thoughts on Dr. Tworek’s book followed by a Q&A.
Following the discussion, there will be a reception with light refreshments. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
