Whether you have questions about completing your History program and applying to graduate, course offerings, degree requirements, academic opportunities, student-directed seminars, or other academic challenges, mark your calendars for the 2022 welcome back event for students, hosted by Dr. Michael Lanthier, History Majors Advisor.
This in-person event will give returning students an opportunity to meet other History students after more than two years of virtual learning over a slice of pizza.
This event will also be an opportunity to:
- Meet Dr. Bonnie Effros, History Department Head, Dr. Steve Lee, Undergraduate Chair, and our newest faculty members
- Learn about our exciting new course offerings
- Get information about careers, internships, Arts Co-op, Go Global and other experiences to enhance your education or prepare you for your career path after graduation
- Hear from the History Students Association (HSA) about how to enrich your experience at UBC
- Brush up on information that’s important to your program
