Hist 305 covers the history of British Columbia with emphasis on the years after 1871 when BC joined Canada. This course is delivered online and asynchronously. Video lectures and power points will be posted each week on Canvas. The course will have a term paper component as well as a series of short writing assignments in response to assigned readings (these are in lieu of traditional discussion groups). A mid term and final exam will also be required and these will be written online via Canvas. Office hours will be virtual.
