ract

At the end of the war\, thousands of unaccompanied chi
ldren required assistance while many more were missing. This lecture delive
red by Professor Dan Stone (University of London) examines how the Internat
ional Tracing Service helped children reunite with their families. These st
ories of tracing open up wider questions about the Cold War\, humanitariani
sm\, and the significance of the family and the state in the building of th
e postwar order.

Speaker Bio

[image_aligned
